The mirrors are not CFRPs that use epoxy resin; Mamba is a special blend of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic (CFRTP) that uses Polycarbonate (a thermoplastic) instead. Excellent impact toughness is achieved through 2 layers of (top and bottom) 3K plain weave carbon fiber, with a mid-layer reinforced glass fiber impregnated through-and-through with Polycarbonate. These mirrors can be recycled and reused, and feature a UV resistant coating. Remarkably thin, they provide a tidy, neat, and clean look, with the thinnest point around 4.8mm depending on the model.

KiWAV bar end mirrors can be mounted in two ways, top or bottom, with M12 bolts for direct installation. They are E-Mark approved and easy to install, making them a perfect complement to your bike. The mirrors feature an E-mark approved convex lens, providing a wider vision. The mirror housing is made of ABS plastic, while the mirror stem is crafted from CNC aluminum. The mirrors are fairly adjustable, with a net weight of 535g/1.17lbs per pair and a gross weight of 660g/1.46lbs for the total package including packaging.

These mirrors are compatible with BMW OEM handlebar end mounts that use an M12 bolt, specifically for the R nineT Scrambler, Pure, Racer, and Urban models, as well as the F 800 R, HP4, S 1000 R, and S 1000 RR (2010-2018) models. They are not compatible with models that use M8 or M10 bolts, such as the F700GS, F800GS, F800GR, K1600GT, K1200R, R1200GS, R1200R, R1250GS, T1250R, and S1000XR. For handlebars with a hollow opening end or other threaded sizes, users should find a suitable set in the store.

Note that modification might be needed for installation, and users may need to apply washers as spacers to avoid contact with the grips (spacers are not included).
